This Privacy Policy explains how Inobi SRL (“Inobi”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects data provided through Santa's Message.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: Email, Apple ID, and device identifiers used for authentication.
- Order data: Names, cities, script text, chosen settings, and generated video/audio assets.
- Safety data: Moderation flags, abuse reports, and related metadata tied to content reviews.
- Usage data: App interactions, crash reports, and anonymous analytics to improve performance.
2. How we use data
- Create and deliver personalized Santa videos or audio greetings.
- Provide support, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Run automated and human moderation to keep scripts, names, and outputs safe for recipients.
- Send product updates or promotional messages (with opt-out options).
3. Sharing & storage
We store data on Google Cloud in the EU (europe-west1). We share limited data with trusted vendors like Synthesia (video rendering) and Firebase (hosting, messaging) strictly to provide the service. We do not sell personal data.
4. Moderation & safety
- Scripts, names, and generated assets may be reviewed (automatically or by authorized reviewers) to prevent harmful, illegal, or policy-violating content.
- We log moderation decisions, flags, and related metadata to improve safety systems and to support appeals or support requests.
- Limited data needed for moderation may be shared with trusted providers who assist with safety reviews under confidentiality obligations.
5. Retention
Order assets remain accessible for at least 90 days, after which we may archive or delete them. Account data is retained while your account remains active or as required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on your region you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Contact us at support@santamessage.app to submit a request. We may require proof of identity before fulfilling requests.
7. Children’s privacy
The service is directed at parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13. Guardians may request removal of a child’s information via the contact email above.
8. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you in-app or via email when we make significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
